Salted Caramel Sauce

INGREDIENTS:

  • Sugar – 150 gm
  • Water – 6 tbsp
  • Cream – 200 ml
  • Butter – 2 tbsp
  • Cream of tartar (COT) – 1/4 tsp
  • Salt – 1/8 tsp

DIRECTION:

  1. Put pan onto heat, add sugar, water  and COT.IMG_20160608_232734.jpg
  2. Keep an eye on it until it gets dark in color.
  3. Add butter, salt and stir for two minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and add cream into itIMG_20160609_003518.jpg
  5. Keep it cool and store in a jar. Can be stored up to 2 months in the refrigerator.
